NYSTEDT NEWS’ SPA PHILOSOPHY

To be able to create innovative spa concepts, Maria’s philosophy has always been to look at things differently and from another angle. 
Her work always starts with a deep analysis of the current trends and phenomens in the spa, travel, culture and lifestyle domain. In addition to the trend analysis, an in-depth marketing analysis is also done. Whilst working on the analysis she looks for the GAP, what is missing, what can we do that no one else has done so far?

Her driving force is to create authenticity and create concepts and spa experiences that are tailored for the people of today. People of today are so filled of experiences, meetings, and happenings and they have a constant drive to completely fill their time with activities. Stillness and contemplation is rare today. 

“We are living in such a fast pace world today, we hardly have the energy, time or ability to actually focus on how we feel, what we feel and how things makes us feel”. 

Therefore to create a spa concept, it is no longer enough with a grand and extraordinary design or exclusive products. Maria’s strong believe is to work with senses and emotions:
  • How can we make the spa guest feel more and experience more? 
  • How can we help people to re-awaken their senses again and create the most extraordinary spa experiences, by doing things differently?

A successful SPA, according to Maria, has the perfect mix of design, trends, quality, spirituality, craftsmanship and profitability.
